Habitat for Humanity ReStores offer prompt, friendly and free pickup service to businesses, Tuesday – Saturday. When we are able to collaborate with businesses, we create meaningful change in our community.
We pick up items with a usable life that we recycle back into the community, including:

Donating your car, truck, motorcycle, etc to the Cars for Homes program offers a new life for a family seeking affordable homeownership in the San Gabriel Valley. With the Cars for Homes program, you can know the legacy of your automobile will live on in the memories being made by SGV Habitat homeowners.
About half of the cars donated to Cars for Homes are sold to licensed dealers at wholesale auctions and are reused for transportation. The other half are typically transported to auto salvage yards where all reusable car parts, batteries, tires and fluids are removed. Vehicles that can be recycled are crushed, shredded and recycled into steel.
Habitat receives funds for each donated vehicle, although a car sold at auction generally generates more revenue than one that is recycled. Last fiscal year SGV Habitat received $88,800 from donated vehicles. Every donation makes a difference and the families that partner with us are extremely grateful for your help.
